People have
learned to mass produce everything. They want it now. They want it quick. They don’t
want to pay too much to obtain it. They want it varied and specialized to their
taste and desire. They want “mine” and to “do me” instantly. Mass production
allows you to make hundreds or thousands of copies of the original quickly and
customize it at the same time. You can microwave just about anything into
existence- right NOW - except one important virtue; you can’t microwave patience.
You can’t mass produce it either. This rare trait must be baked into your
character over time and through time-appropriate, life experiences. Those who
seek to possess this character gem must go through the process most people
these days know very little about: It’s called Waiting.
